When greeting the participants of the Expertise the First Vice-Prime Minister of Ukraine – Oleksandr Turchinov noted that the aspects that were placed in the centre of attention are closely related to strengthening competitiveness of Ukraine in the world, and pushing Ukraine to the frontiers of the general progress.

Innovative environment in Ukraine
Since 2000 Ukraine is included into the group of the countries which are world leaders on rates of growth of macroeconomic parameters. Development of the national market, reduction of inflationary processes, positive dynamics of industry development today provide strengthening ratings of Ukraine in a world circle of the advanced countries in the sphere of investments and innovations. This atmosphere stimulate a gain of direct foreign investments into the economy of the state. The traditional greatest countries-investors in the Ukrainian economy are Austria, Germany, Netherlands, Russian Federation, the United Kingdom, the United States America, France and Switzerland.
Today at legislative and executive levels, in Ukraine is carried out the implementation of new projects and programs with a prevailing priority of following directions:
- modernization of power stations; new and renewed energy sources;
- mechanical engineering and instrument making as a basis of highly technological updating of all areas of manufacture; development of high-quality metallurgy;
- nanotechnologies, microelectronics, information technologies, telecommunications;
- improvement of the chemical technologies, new materials, development of biotechnologies;
- highly technological development of agriculture and refining industry;
- transport systems: construction and reconstruction;
- protection and improvement of the person and an environment;
- development of innovative culture of a society.
Positive dynamics of changes in an investment climate of the state, in particular in activity of the central enforcement authorities is obvious. Today new projects on development of an innovative infrastructure - scientific, industrial, technological parks, free economic zones and territories of priority development, and business-incubators, other elements of an innovative infrastructure take actively root and developed.
At the same time, objectively estimating the situation in our state, it is necessary to note negative influences which today are carried out on the innovative environment of Ukraine. This absence of political stability, the complex and inconsistent tax laws, insufficiently developed financial infrastructure and the share market. The given calls of our time remain the basic obstacles in a way of receipt of investments into the Ukrainian economy.
Only teamwork of authority, a science and business are capable to resist to the designated destructive tendencies today. National innovative Forum, being in avant guarde of the given processes, actively forms and creates a nutrient medium for an intensification of innovative technologies in all spheres of a life of the society and the state.
