EuroParliament has supported the Eurocommission offer to declare 2009 Year of creativity and innovations.
When greeting the participants of the Expertise the First Vice-Prime Minister of Ukraine – Oleksandr Turchinov noted that the aspects that were placed in the centre of attention are closely related to strengthening competitiveness of Ukraine in the world, and pushing Ukraine to the frontiers of the general progress.

I NATIONAL INNOVATION FORUM "UKRAINIAN INNOVATION DOCTRINE"
December 14-15, 2007, Kyiv. Teacher’s House, 57 Volodymyrs’ka St.
The main objective of the Forum is the formation of economic, regional and
social reference points of strategic development of Ukraine. The existing state
programs, concepts and approaches which regulate the sphere of innovation
development, will be critically analyzed during the Forum. The Forum program
includes a national conference, plenary sessions, round tables, and
presentations of innovation projects. Forum participants will lay the
foundation for the National Innovation Doctrine and a book “Ukrainian Innovation
Doctrine” will be published based on the results.
